Our client is a Dynamic Construction Equipment Company Located in Southern Tasmania. They have a position available for a Parts Interpreter/ Parts Sales Professional. 

The objective of the Parts Interpreter/ Parts Sales Professional is to provide a high level of service both internally and externally in an economic, efficient and profitable manner in order for their customers to maximise machine up-time whilst also continuing to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities & duties of this role are:

  Parts interpreting for external customers & workshop.
  Daily & Monthly stock orders.
  Parts & Inventory management
  Parts dispatch & incoming
  Communicate with clients concerning service and supply issues with the aim of improving customer service & parts availability.
  Allocate parts and service invoices to general ledger for processing.
  Showroom display, presentation and cleanliness.
  First point of contact for all parts/sales phone calls. Ensuring all customers are kept well informed.
  Actively pursue new accounts and increase revenue and divisional profitability.
  Purchasing, receipting and invoicing of goods.
  Negotiate best prices for all commodities
  Source alternative product if required
  Review and monitor freight charges

Knowledge and Skills required in order to be considered for this role:

  Parts interpretation for all products
  Parts interpretation support to other staff.
  Knowledge of construction equipment parts
  Good time management
  Mechanical aptitude
  Computer literacy.
  Good attitude towards customer service.
  Understanding of work procedures.
  Setting of priorities.
  High level of people skills
  Bright & pleasant manner

Desirable Certificates in:

  Mechanical trade
  Forklift license
